2026 Legislative Reception

Each year, RCCEDC hosts a Legislative Reception in Santa Fe during the New Mexico Legislative Session. During 2026, RCCEDC held the event at Eldorado Hotel & Spa and welcomed over 150 attendees from our Board of Directors, members of our organization, community leaders, as well as local and statewide elected officials. Chairwoman of the RCCEDC Board of Directors, Carolyn Hardwick shared the successes and strides made during 2025 and what is on the horizon for 2026, followed by Mayor Timothy “Tim” Jennings, also sharing remarks about the fluidity of the partnership among the City of Roswell, Chaves County and RCCEDC. The event provides a unique opportunity for engagement with our elected officials and fellow community members and business leaders.

We would like to extend our appreciation for our keynote speaker of the evening, Senator Candy Spence Ezzell, who discussed current legislative issues and concerns impacting New Mexicans.
