Roseville Business Owners Can Grow Through Multiple Support Organizations
12 Jan 2026
Business owners seeking networking opportunities, resources, and other forms of support can find community in multiple local organizations, including the Roseville Economic Development Authority (REDA), the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce (TCN).
REDA is the economic development authority for the city, while the Chamber is revamping its brand and programming to attract new businesses. This partnership, along with the St. Paul Area Chamber, maximizes opportunities for business owners to connect.
“Our three pillars are Promoting Businesses, Connecting Communities, and Developing Leaders,” says Mike Dvorak, President of TCN. “We are eager to welcome all people, from all backgrounds, who want to find community.”
Dvorak recently stepped into the role of Chamber President, but has worked with civic organizations throughout his career. His new leadership brings fresh perspectives and ideas to the Chamber, many of which will roll out in 2026.
Both REDA and TCN are offering new opportunities for business owners to network and learn, making it easier for professionals to grow together with events that work with their schedules.
TCN is Rebranding and Revamping in 2026
Roseville business owners interested in TCN are invited to attend its Spring Celebration on Thursday, April 16, at the DoubleTree Hotel Roseville, located at 2540 N. Cleveland Ave. This is where the Chamber will showcase its rebranding and outline its future plans.
“We’ve received a lot of feedback that civic organizations tend to be viewed as ‘old boys clubs,’ and we want to change that perception,” says Dvorak. “We are also focusing on young professionals and entrepreneurs in 2026.”
Dvorak adds that he wants TCN to be a hub of information related to everything business owners need, from advances in technology to securing permits for storefronts. It currently has around 300 members with room to grow.
Entrepreneurs Can Get Involved Immediately
Both REDA and TCN are welcoming to business owners in the early stages of development. This is often when people are most in need of resources, community, and information.
“One of the first steps when starting a business should be to get involved in the Chamber,” says Dvorak. “There’s so much knowledge you can glean from participating companies. We’re not competing against each other, we’re working to build a wealth of knowledge.”
Similarly, REDA shares numerous resources throughout the year, including networking events and grant opportunities.
REDA and TCN Take a Big Picture Approach to Business Support
REDA and TCN are aligned in that they understand the fluidity of the city’s borders. Many Roseville businesses work with customers in other parts of the Twin Cities, so networking isn’t limited to a few neighborhoods.
“We welcome all Chamber members and business owners across the region to attend our Roseville Business Connect events,” says Jeanne Kelsey, Housing and Economic Development Program Manager for REDA. “We want to bring in professionals who are eager to network and meet customers, vendors, and partners.”
Roseville Business Connect is a free quarterly event. It was recently rebranded from the Roseville Business Council.
