Come in and speak face-to-face with representatives from organizations committed to supporting small business owners.
The following organizations will be participating:
- Latino Economic Development Center: Provides services in startup readiness and development, access to capital, and specialized technical assistance to help Latino entrepreneurs and small businesses launch and grow.
- LegalCORPS: Provides free legal assistance to low-income entrepreneurs and innovators and small nonprofits in Minnesota, through the services of volunteer business lawyers.
- Lunar Startups: Provides education, support, and connectivity to entrepreneurs who identify as BIack, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+, women, and non-binary with collaborative cohort-based programs.
- MCCD Open to Business: Provides free business counseling to current and prospective entrepreneurs. Services include consulting, technical assistance, and access to capital.
- Metropolitan Economic Development Association: Provides wrap-around services in management education, money, and market to support the success of BIPOC entrepreneurs.
- NextStage: Partners with Hennepin County and other public sector entities to offer no-cost services to entrepreneurs at every stage of business development.
- Think Small: Through the Child Care Wayfinder program, assists and guides people interested in starting or expanding a child care business, including licensing, business skills, connecting with other professionals, and sharing resources.
- WomenVenture: Provides women of all ages, cultures, races, and income levels with the tools and resources to achieve economic success through small business ownership. Services include training, lending, and childcare business services.
- Workshop provided by Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, Small Business Assistance Office: Offers individual consultation services and a comprehensive series of business guidebooks, helping reduce expenses for small businesses.
