News, Success Stories, Choose Roseville

Chiropractic care is a medical practice that typically manages back and neck pain through attention to the body’s neuromusculoskeletal system. At the New Brighton Chiropractic Clinic in Roseville, Dr. Christian Kollar advises his patients on the options to optimize their physical and mental well-being.

“We offer affordable mainstream chiropractic care that employs a gentle technique perfect for those who may be unsure about how chiropractic care can help with their pain,” said Dr. Kollar. “It is adaptable for what each patient needs.”

Kollar’s practice was started by his father, Dr. Andrew Kollar III, in New Brighton in 1972. Dr. Kollar, the son, grew up in nearby Shoreview and attended Mounds View High School. He did his undergraduate at the University of Minnesota and completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas. But the plan was always to come back and join his father’s practice. He moved back to the area in 2003 and continued to work with his father until his retirement. In 2017, he moved his practice to the current location in Roseville.

“Roseville has been an excellent host,” he said. “Roseville supports local small businesses very well.”

Individual care

Affordable mainstream chiropractic care is more than a tagline for Dr. Kollar, as it defines his desire to provide unique services to match each individual's needs. With techniques learned from his father’s original practice and refined with his schooling and experience, Dr. Kollar utilizes a gentle approach that does not need to be painful for patients.

“We focus on a proper amount of force to accomplish the goal each patient needs,” he said.

The care Dr. Kollar provides can offer relief from more than just minor neck or back pain. Proper chiropractic care can improve conditions like fibromyalgia, entrapment or movement disorders, stroke rehabilitation, migraine headaches, and more.

Dr. Kollar also stated a significant theme at his practice is patient respect.

“We do not immediately jump to massive, expensive treatment programs and we value their time by recognizing the impact their pain has on their lives,” he said.”We block out time daily so individuals can usually get a same-day visit if the need arises.”

Roseville advantages

The move to Roseville has been highly beneficial to Dr. Kollar’s business. His number of patients is still not back to pre-pandemic levels due to changes in individual patterns and habits. He was highly appreciative of the assistance the City of Roseville facilitated with funding assistance available through the U.S. Small Business Administration. Other advantages offered by Roseville will continue to benefit his business.

“Our location off I-35W and County Road D is extremely convenient for patients and helps bring in clients from Roseville, New Brighton and other surrounding communities,” he said. “The surrounding business community supports each other very well, which I make sure to reciprocate in ways like frequenting nearby Roseville businesses myself.”

Continuous education

Dr. Kollar believes in furthering his education to continue offering high-quality diagnoses and treatment of conditions related to the human nervous system. He also emphasizes being active in the overall chiropractic community and being mindful of current chiropractic care. He served as the president of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association from 2012 to 2014 and was awarded the 2014 Minnesota Chiropractic Association Chiropractor of the Year. That combination will allow him to provide neurological consultations and or second opinions for patient care while continuing to specialize in developing unique treatment options for rehabilitation, exercise plans and nutritional counseling.
