Computype Prints Success Thanks To Help From Roseville

“Computype opened in Roseville 42 years ago and we’ve been here ever since. We love it here,” says Computype vice president Tom Roach. “A lot of our employees are from the area so it has a lot of convenience. We also like being so close to infrastructure.” In the 1990s, the city loaned the company funds to help it expand. “We’ve been in our current building since 1981. We’ve grown from an eighth of the building to two-thirds of the building. We’ve seen Roseville grow as well. It’s a great area.” Computype has earned a reputation as a leading barcode company with a diverse range of solutions. The opportunities for a label company are as exciting now as they were 40 years ago. “We plan on continuing to grow in Roseville for a long time,” says Roach.
