2017 Building/Remodeling Award
About
The program is intended to recognize and reward residential properties that incorporate best practices for improvements when building or remodeling a home in Roseville. The winning properties will be highlighted at a City Council meeting and on the City’s website.
Applications must be postmarked by November 30, 2017. Winners will be notified in January 2018 and recognized at a City Council meeting.
Eligibility
Residential properties in Roseville are eligible. Builders or owners of the properties must submit the application, however the property owner must agree to comply with all contest requirements. Properties must be in full compliance with city ordinances and codes. All applicants must agree to have pictures of their homes with address displayed on the City’s website.
Judging
Selections are based on information provided on the application form, as well as from photos of the home or garden before and after the improvement. Properties that use a combination of the following good management practices will rank high:
- Energy efficiency
- Impact on the marketplace
- Indoor environmental quality
- Site and community impact
- Water conservation
- Resource efficiency
