Business Visitation Program

The City of Roseville, MN recognizes the value of a strong business community. Nationally, over 70% of employment growth in a community comes from retention and expansion of existing businesses. Existing businesses make investments in facilities, create jobs, and provide a support network that is at the heart of a strong local economy. A key element of a strong business community is a proactive, business-friendly, and supportive government.

The Roseville Economic Development Authority launched a Business Visitation Program with the goal of enhancing lines of communication with the Roseville, MN business community. The program allows staff to spend a brief amount of time learning about the businesses and how the City could support their operations. The City is interested in hearing about needs or problems confronting the business community and ways the City can help businesses succeed. With the knowledge gained, the City will be better equipped to represent the interests of Roseville businesses. The program provides business owners and management with a single point of contact within City government.
