Keeping up with economic development trends

For 50 years, the Economic Development Association of Minnesota has been helping professionals in the public, private and nonprofit spheres keep up to date with the latest economic development strategies, trends and best practices.

EDAM’s summer conference is always a wonderful learning experience for those in the field. This year it takes place June 28-30 at the Grand View Lodge in Nisswa. The schedule is full of educational opportunities. Attendees will get expert advice on key topics such as how to navigate the legislature and understand the landscape of the current labor market.

There will be time for fun and networking as well. A 5K fun run, a networking BBQ and a golf tournament are on the roster. Elk River is a proud sponsor of the conference awards ceremony, which takes place on Friday morning.
