Super Bowl Visitors to Reach 1 Million

8 Jan 2018

Minneapolis will host Super Bowl 52 on February 4, 2018 at US Bank Stadium, the state-of-the-art home of the Minnesota Vikings. The stadium can seat up to 70,000 but far more people are coming for the big event. The Super Bowl planning committee expects around 1 million visitors to the region, saying that the event will last for ten days with various activities, parties and happenings throughout Minneapolis and the surrounding region.

Early estimates put the economic impact of the Super Bowl at $400 million or more. With planning already underway and volunteers being recruited to help with the efforts, Roseville can play a role in the upcoming Super Bowl. Hotels, restaurant, entertainment and shopping centers are only a few of the businesses who could benefit from this increase in tourism.
